Bards are versatile performers who weave brief songs into battle, strengthening allies and weakening enemies while fighting with weapons and instruments. Skilled Bards can sustain several melodies at once, but must keep performing to maintain their effects.

Attributes
Each Charisma point makes your songs and Final Cadence 0.1% stronger, up to a 200% bonus, and subtracts 0.02% from the chance that a target resists your charm. Wisdom and Intelligence do not change your songs or Final Cadence.
Attribute rulesOff-hand
Your off-hand holds your instrument. Songs need it, so you cannot use a two-handed weapon.
Playing a Bard
- You can keep two songs active at once. Polyphony removes this limit. Song rules
- Without Polyphony, a new song replaces the oldest one when both slots are full.
- Virtuosity and Final Cadence need at least three active songs, so they require Polyphony. Final Cadence
