Scroll Mastery
Craft scrolls and raise Scroll Mastery to strengthen their effects.
Scrolls and Scroll Mastery
Craft scrolls from recipes at a Scribing Table.
All current scroll recipes have 100% crafting success chance. Crafting grants Player Level × 100 XP. A double-XP effect doubles this crafting XP.
Scrolls cast skills without teaching them. Scaling scrolls cast at one rank per 5% Scroll Mastery, rounded, from rank 1 up to the skill's highest rank. At 37% Scroll Mastery, they cast at rank 7. Exact halves go to the even rank, so 12.5% Scroll Mastery casts at rank 2. Fixed scrolls cast at rank 1. Successful completion consumes one charge unless the scroll has infinite charges. Mastery gains also occur on completion.
Most scrolls take 1 second to cast. A few, such as fireworks, work instantly. An interrupted scroll uses no charge and starts no cooldown. See scroll casting and interruptions.
Crafting a scroll or using a scroll can raise Scroll Mastery. Both use the same gain chance, but using a scroll grants more mastery.
