Mechanics

Bard mercenary skill level = min(max skill level, max(1, floor(regular level ÷ 5) + floor(veteran level ÷ 10))).

Mercenary Song Aura

activeDuration = baseDuration; reapplied every 2.5s while the song stays active

The Bard mercenary sings by itself. Out of combat it keeps only Wayfarer's Rhythm active. In combat it keeps Grand Symphony and March of Celerity active, and from level 40 also Anthem of Focus. It starts one song at a time. The songs stop when the mercenary or its owner dies, or when the mercenary is hidden, stunned, feared, or asleep.

Active Song Limit

maximumCombatSongs = 2 below level 40, 3 at level 40 and above

Polyphony and learned song duration bonuses do not apply to the mercenary.

Song Category: Bard Celerity Song

strength = speed + phys dmg % + magic dmg % + haste + spell haste + accuracy

A target keeps one song of each category. This applies to songs from different Bards and to Bard mercenary songs. A new song replaces songs of the same category only when its strength is higher. On equal strength, the song already applied stays.

Effective Cast Time = castTime − (castTime × spellHaste)
