Hunger in the Ice
Read Shadows of Ice and Blood, merged from Frost Notes #1-3 found in Black Ice Deep; return to Dana in Milldenn. Prior reading counts.
{EPICREQUIREMENTS}
The orcs of Black Ice Deep carry fragments called Frost Notes. Assemble all three into Shadows of Ice and Blood and read the completed volume. It tells how starvation and endless cold hardened a people into cruelty. Do not soften their danger, and do not pretend their suffering excuses it. Lyra's song needs a verse that can hold both truths at once. A bard who offers only praise or condemnation has mistaken a chorus for a verdict.

Hunger in the Ice
You have kept the two truths separate without losing either. That is difficult work. Take what you have learned back to Lyra in Alaenanore. The next empty chair belongs to someone whose own words still survive.
