An Empire's Epitaph

Recommended Level 50 An Empire's Epitaph Recover The Fall of Valorath from Xyzzith the Decayed in the Vault of the Vanished, read it, and report to Krazhiss in the Northern Wastes near Old Valorath. {EPICREQUIREMENTS} Xyzzith the Decayed carries The Fall of Valorath within the Vault of the Vanished. Recover and read it before entering the ruined empire. It records how Druvina's experiments bound necrotic energies to living Drassars and how that corruption spread beyond her chambers. Then seek Krazhiss in the Northern Wastes near Old Valorath and discuss what you read. Krazhiss is a Drassar who knows the dangers of that cursed city. Read this as the history of a people, not a catalogue of obedient bodies; their fate is the reason for this work. REWARDS 120,000 Experience

An Empire's Epitaph You have read the fall of my people, not a manual for claiming new subjects. An empire fell because someone treated living people as material for an answer. Here in the Northern Wastes, you stand outside Old Valorath. Enter its abandoned halls only when you are ready to confront what still enforces that answer. REWARDS 120,000 Experience
