A Brother's Legacy
Read The Fall of Valorath, a rare drop from Xyzzith the Decayed in the Vault of the Vanished, then report to Eldric The Grey in Trolls Cave. A previously recorded reading counts.
{EPICREQUIREMENTS}
The empire left more than fine weapons. Its warriors also left a warning, buried beneath songs of conquest. Seek The Fall of Valorath, sometimes found among Xyzzith the Decayed's spoils in the Vault of the Vanished, and read it carefully. Learn how Druvina's experiments turned proud defenders into prisoners of their own flesh. Alden's diary taught us to recover a legacy; this account must teach us to judge one. I need your understanding, not another book placed unopened upon my bench. Then seek Eldric The Grey in Trolls Cave. Alden's brother should hear what you have learned about the difference between preserving courage and preserving conquest.

A Brother's Legacy
Harbid was right to ask you to read before you fought. My brother sought a blade, not dominion over the dead. Valorath's defenders were victims as well as soldiers; carry Alden's courage without inheriting the empire's cruelty.
