The Empire's Curse
Read The Fall of Valorath, a rare drop from Xyzzith the Decayed in the Vault of the Vanished, then report to Aelindis in Molten Summit. An earlier reading counts.
{EPICREQUIREMENTS}
Braldur's suffering was terrible, but it was not the first tragedy born from a promise to overcome death. Seek The Fall of Valorath among the rare spoils of Xyzzith the Decayed in the Vault of the Vanished. Read what it says of Druvina's experiments beneath that place, and of the Drassar trapped between life and death. Do not turn the account into a prayer that excuses ignorance. Bring me what you understand of the disaster, and we shall decide where mercy must become action.

The Empire's Curse
The account names Druvina and the wound she opened beneath the Vault. It does not prove she fashioned Braldur's Bloodstone, and we should not pretend otherwise. It does show another place where the same contempt for life must be opposed.
