Guilds

Guild Membership

Create a guild at a registrar for up to 10 characters, including its leader.

At a Guild Registrar, a guildless character can create a guild for 10,000 gold if their account leads no other guild. Names must have 3–20 characters. Letters, numbers, spaces, apostrophes, hyphens, and underscores are allowed.

A guild holds up to 10 member characters, not 10 accounts.

Guild membership belongs to each character. The owner account can use leader permissions only through a character in its guild. Another character on the owner account can join that guild if it has room.

The leader can invite an online guildless character by name at the registrar. A full guild cannot invite another member.

An invitation expires after 5 minutes. Declining blocks that guild's invitations to the same account for 3 hours during the current server session.

Leaving at the registrar removes only that character and clears its guild points. If the recorded leader character leaves, the earliest-joined member becomes leader. An empty guild is deleted.

Each character saves its own guild membership. Online guildmates on the same server receive membership updates. When the leader is present, the leader's member list determines who stays in the guild.

Guild Points

A guilded player credited with a boss kill earns points for that character.

Only a boss kill grants guild points. The boss's highest-threat participant gets credit, not necessarily the last hitter. A mercenary or combat pet credits its owner. Only the credited player receives guild points, if they belong to a guild.

A boss grants one guild point per five levels, rounded up, with at least one point. A non-boss elite grants no guild points.

Points belong to the credited character, not every guildmate or alt. New members start at zero, and leaving clears that character's contribution. Online guildmates on the same server see updated member points.
